12 week DoE Cookery Skills Course, suitable for 3 month Bronze, Silver Award or part of the Gold. Please contact me for the 6 month Gold Cookery Skills Course, as you will need to undertake 2 Options, as well as 2 independent studies.
Learn this important life skill to aid independence and self sufficiency from the comfort of your own kitchen, to suit your schedule. You can start whenever suits you!
The recipe, ingredients and equipment list will be sent through weekly to both participants and legal guardian, along with the relevant Cook-Along style recording. Participants will be expected to send photos/evidence that they have completed the relevant session, as well as their feedback, each week.
I will act as the Assessor and so will write their report once the course is completed, though always check with your DofE Leader before booking any course.
Most food preferences are accommodated, with alternatives suggested.
Students will be learning a mix of essential skills and practical recipes- incorporating Classic Cookery, Baking and International Cuisine, all with a major emphasis on flavour! Food hygeine, food waste and tips on how to enhance flavour will be covered too.
